For my first recipe I'd thought I would make Guacamole(page 22 soft
cover), and share it as a snack for the Superbowl. I had most of the
ingredients besides a couple avocados and cilantro. It was a very cheap
snack and it was simple to make. I decided to add chili powder (a
substitution the cookbook suggested) instead of a jalapeno since I do
not like much spice. However it turned out really bland, there was not
much flavoring to it. I feel that I should have added the jalapeno
afterwards. however it went really well with Tostitos chips with a hint
of lime. It still made a tasty treat, even though it was not my
favorite.
