I decided to use the staple "cheap" foods to be the basis of my meals: eggs, potatoes, pasta, and oatmeal. I also made use of frozen strawberries and peas to enhance shelf life and lower cost. I think these meals would be very satisfying, and they have a variety of food groups. I even came in five cents under! The only sources I used was Rainbow Grocery store for food prices.
