Fieldtrip- Campus Club

This fieldtrip was a lot of fun. Great food, great friends and overall a great class. I could not think of a better way to end the lab portion of this class. The field trip from beginning to end was a great experience. Many people in the class had been here previously, I had not. I look forward to being able to go back again.
This picture was taken at the campus club bar. I learned that even students can come up here and get drinks during the summer and other school breaks.
This picture is of one of the main dining rooms at the campus club. The view from these windows is amazing. You can see the Mississippi river and also the skyline of downtown Minneapolis. This room is used for many events such as a mothers day brunch and also weddings. This room can accommodate a modest sized wedding of about 200 hundred people.
here is a picture of the cafeteria portion of the campus club. Everyday they serve many faculty members for lunch. Most commonly faculty members from the mall area of campus. This would include math, physics, english, the health sciences, and a few others. Beth the executive chef had mentioned wanting to open a campus club on the St.Paul campus.
Here we have the veggies that were put into our dinner. it looked amazing but not nearly as amazing as it tasted.
This right here is a picture of one of my favorite parts of the entire trip. This cook book has some very cool recipes that even a student could you to create amazing food at home.
This picture I found in one of the hallways at the club. I found it very cute. It is the periodic table of vegetables.

Overall I had a great time at the campus club. The food was amazing and I got to learn a lot about how the club gets its ingredients.
