Angel Food Cake

I was inspired to make this because this weekend was boyfriend's birthday. He isn't really a cake guy and doesn't like brownies either. However, he mentioned that he did like angel food cake. Fortunately, there was an Angel Food Cake recipe on page 912 of the new How to Cook Everything by Mark Bittman. I didn't try it because I am vegan and it contains eggs, but he seemed to like it. My boyfriend was the only judge and he said it was good, but that's coming from a nice boyfriend that would probably eat it even it was burnt or tasted bad. Haha! If he would have changed anything, he says he would have put confetti sprinkles in it. I ended up presenting it with some cut up strawberries mixed with sugar.
