Cabbage Braised with Sausage and Beer

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I decided to make Cabbage Braised with Sausage and Beer (275-276). The recipe called for kielbasa sausage, but I used a traditional Irish sausage instead. I also decided to add onions to the recipe for more flavor. The beer turned into a nice sauce, and it kept the dish really moist. Along side some cheesy mashed potatoes, this was a perfect dish for an Irish Celebration.
