Panna Cota

After a long weekend of working and studying my boyfriend and I decided that we deserved some dessert, and so we flipped though Bittman and we both thought that Panna Cota (p 659) sounded like the perfect treat.  The only trouble we had was finding a vanilla bean.  We found one at the grocery store, but it was a dried one so when we cut it open there was not really any seeds as the directions instructed.  But overall this did not seem to be a problem and I just did the best I could to scrape out the inside of the bean and skipped putting in the outside of the bean.  Heres a few pictures!
