Hummus


Hummus

This week, I went simple and decided to make hummus (Bittman 93). I needed to make an appetizer for my brother’s birthday party, so it seemed like a perfect fit! Everyone absolutely loved it, and I was surprised at how easy it was to make. To put it simply, all you do is blend chickpeas, olive oil, garlic, lemon, salt and pepper in a food processor. Bittman’s recipe called for tahini, but I couldn’t find it at the grocery store. I think it tasted just fine without it, and I would definitely make it again!
