Project Cook

Hi all! A few of you asked me to post more information about Project Cook, so here it goes:

The Project Cook Story:
Short Version: Good Food = Good Life. We like cooking. We want to do it more often. And we want you to join us.

Longer version:  Project Cook is about making a point to get in the kitchen more often. The idea is that once a month on a specific weekend, young people will set aside the evening to gather, cook, and eat together with roommates and friends ON PURPOSE. Think of it as a purposeful way of improving your social life and cooking skills at the same time. The beauty of the project is that it is infinitely flexible, and anyone can participate! Then, by documenting it and putting it online to make it visible, the hope is that more and more people will be inspired to join.

How to Participate in Project Cook:
Visit www.generationyinthekitchen.blogspot.com
1. Check out This Month's Inspiration
2. Gather roommates + friends.
3. Cook together, eat together, enjoy.
4. Repeat.

Every time you participate document it with a picture, video, or by writing up your recipe. Then upload them here, and watch the project GROW.

Project Cook this month is March 22-24.  The theme is Hot Chili Peppers.  You can read the inspiration (and learn about the difference between chili lovers and chili haters) here.

My friends and I have been doing it for almost a year now, and it is always a good time.  Interested in getting involved?  www.facebook.com/ProjectCook

Enjoy your spring break all and see you next week!
