Fajitas

Bittman's recipe for fajitas (page 174) leaves a lot of choice up to the chef, which is one aspect I enjoyed. Of the 9 ingredients, 5 direct you to another page to make whatever it calls for from scratch (guacamole, salsa, grilled vegetables, etc.). Unfortunately, due to the constraints of time and money, I ended up purchasing some of them pre-made rather than doing it myself. The end result was very delicious, but I think some homemade ingredients really would have taken it to a whole new level (homemade guacamole anyone?)
