Overall this assignment was alot harder than I thought it was going to be! For the prices I found I used the sale prices when available. I also assumed a family of four with two younger children. By doing this assignment I learned truly how hard it is for low income families to eat healthy. I found there was a hard line to walk between the quality of food, and the quantity of food you were able to provide. The challenge for individuals on the SNAP program is providing alot of calories or alot of nutrients to their families.
